Disciples cannot be mass produced. We can’t drop people into a “program” and see disciples emerge at the end of the production line.
Becoming a fruitful, dedicated, mature Christian doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. It also takes individual, personal attention. It takes having someone who is willing to sit down with you and teach you how to get into the Word of God for yourself, how to feed and nourish your soul, and how to apply the Word of God to your life.
Not everyone who enrolls in Biblical Discipleship will be a new believer. Many will have been saved for a number of years. But no matter what your level of spiritual maturity, or how many years you have been saved, we want to help you reach your full potential for Christ.
WHY BIBLICAL DISCIPLESHIP?
It’s a Bible command! In Matthew 28:18-20 we have what is called the Great Commission. We are to "teach them," "baptize them," and then "train them."
In the book of II Timothy, in chapter 2, and verse 2, the Apostle Paul told Timothy that the things that he had heard of him, he was to "commit ... to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." That is 4th generation discipleship.
In Biblical Discipleship we have a total of 15 lessons.
The 15 lessons are:
1. Salvation 6. Prayer 11. Dealing with Sin
2. Eternal Security 7. The Will of God 12. Liberty in Christ
3. Baptism 8. The Local Church 13. My Job and Employer
4. The Holy Spirit 9. Other Christians 14. The Lost World
5. The Word of God 10. Money and Possessions 15. The Judgement Seat of Christ
